i'd still like to see mgs4 in 1080p though. I understand what kojima means. That was the difference between Gran Turismo 3 and 4. GT3 looked a bit too perfect and slick whereas on GT4 polyphony digital specifically dumbed downed the sharpness and made a bit more gritty, added a bit more noise, and it therefore looked more realistic. This IS ridiculous though, ps3 games use bluray discs. No bluray drive = no ps3 games. There's no point. This is almost as ridiculous as microsoft saying the 360 is a next-gen console. J/K

as long as your ps3 is sat on european soil, it can't go online until the ps3 launches in march here. Sony tried blocking all imports to europe so they ain't gonna activate the european online until march and im pretty sure you cant use japanese or american online. I gotta hand it to the 360, this is pretty cool. But like DJ said earlier, if they had this hidden away, why not add a HDMI port with HDMI 3.1?

The PNP HAS only been up and running for a month whereas live has been up for vastly longer. There is also alot more sony can give with their movie, music and gaming background. And the fact that it does what it sets out to achieve, which is allow a good online multiplayer service, is pretty good considering its completely free.
I think people expected the PNP to be as bad as the PS2 online. But its not. I wish people would wake up and smell the coffee because its actually a go...

i guess microsoft finally came to their senses (a year late too) and realised, maybe it wasn't just 3% of 360's that were breaking. According to the IGN podcasts, half their office has had their 360's break and most of them had to replace it 2-3 times. They reckoned it was more around 40% of all 360's (especially early models) breaking.
